Cruising the Inner Islands with S.Y. Sea Star & S.Y. Sea Bird
Weekly 7-Night Cruises · November to April
Welcome to a world where the clock slows down and the rhythm of the ocean takes over. From the moment you step onto the deck of our traditional sailing vessels, you aren't just a passenger, you're an explorer. Whether you're chasing the thrill of a dive or the quiet of a hidden cove, our crew of nine is here to make the journey as seamless as the turquoise horizon. Departs every Saturday, November to April.

Day 1 - Saturday · The Adventure Begins
Your journey starts at 10.30am at Victoria's Inter-Island Quay. After a warm welcome and safety briefing from your Captain, we cast off at noon. Feel the sea breeze as we cruise from Mahé toward the tranquil waters of Round Island, just off Praslin. As the sun dips low, join your fellow travellers for a welcome BBQ under the stars and your first taste of authentic Creole cuisine.

Day 2 - Sunday · Mangroves & Giants
Explore the wild beauty of Curieuse Island, virtually uninhabited, with vast mangrove forests and a conservation farm where you can meet giant tortoises face-to-face, and the historic ruins of a former leper colony. After a beachside BBQ lunch, spend the afternoon lounging on white sand or kayaking through the turquoise shallows of St. Pierre Island.

Day 3 - Monday · A Sanctuary for the Senses
Aride Island is a globally significant nature reserve, home to more native bird species than any other island in the region. Hike to the cliff-top viewpoints for the world's largest frigate bird roost outside of Aldabra, a true bucket-list moment. Afterwards, we set sail for Booby Island for an afternoon of water sports.

Day 4 - Tuesday · Into the "Garden of Eden"
Wake to the gentle lap of waves against the hull. Today we visit the legendary Vallée de Mai on Praslin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Coco de Mer grows wild and the rare Black Parrot hides among the palms. After lunch, the afternoon is yours: dive, snorkel, or enjoy onboard water sports.

Day 5 - Wednesday · Island Time on La Digue
A quick morning stop at Ave Maria "Rock" for snorkeling or diving, then step back in time on La Digue, where bicycles are still the way to travel. Explore the island's soul at your own pace. Don't miss Anse Source d'Argent, framed by iconic granite boulders and widely considered the most beautiful beach on Earth, or visit the Union Estate to see a traditional copra mill and fragrant vanilla plantations.

Day 6 - Thursday · The Granite Jewels
Today is all about the "Sisters." We navigate to Grande Soeur and Petite Soeur, drop anchor and explore. Grande Soeur is an uninhabited tropical gem offering some of the best snorkeling and diving in the archipelago. In the afternoon, visit Coco Island, a tiny granite outcrop that feels like a natural aquarium, teeming with tropical fish.

Day 7 - Friday · A Fond Farewell to the Blue
Enjoy a final, leisurely cruise back toward Mahé, with a last stop at St. Anne Marine National Park, a sanctuary of lush granite islands and vibrant underwater life. After one last afternoon of snorkeling or diving, celebrate together with a farewell BBQ at our overnight anchorage at Ile Seche.

Day 8 - Saturday · Journey's End
As we make our early morning sail back to Victoria, enjoy a final breakfast on deck. We disembark at the Inter-Island Quay at 8.30am, leaving you with memories of the "Seychelles Spirit" that will last a lifetime.
The above itinerary may be changed at the Captain's sole discretion.
Preparing for Your Island Hopping Odyssey
Your Safety & Comfort - The ocean is our master. Your safety is our absolute priority, and if tides or winds shift, your Captain may adjust the route to keep the journey smooth and enjoyable.
Sun & Sea Protection - The Seychelles sun is as brilliant as it is powerful. Pack high-SPF sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and polarised sunglasses for spotting dolphins from the deck.
Stepping Ashore - Adventure means getting your feet wet. Some island visits involve "wet landings" from the dinghy - bring deck shoes and a pair of water shoes or sandals you don't mind getting salty.
Dive into the Deep - The Seychelles underwater world is legendary. Our onboard PADI instructors offer daily dives, introductory "discover" dives for first-timers, and full PADI Open Water certification.
A Taste of the Islands - Every cruise is full board, blending international favourites with soul-warming Creole cuisine. Tell us about any dietary needs in advance - our Chef loves personalising the menu.
Refreshments at Hand - Cool down with soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits from the onboard bar - perfect for a sunset toast on the top deck.
