Step aboard a piece of maritime history for a raw, authentic encounter with the Inner Islands. This isn't a standard cruise — it's a sailing expedition on a traditional twin-masted schooner. From hidden coves accessible only by sea to the rugged shorelines of protected sanctuaries, this journey is about reconnecting with the elements and the timeless pulse of the Indian Ocean. Departs every Saturday, May to October, from Praslin.
Day 1 – Saturday · Into the Wild Blue
Your expedition begins at 10.30am at Anse Possession, Praslin. After the Captain's welcome briefing, spend the afternoon at leisure in this historic cove, where French explorers first staked their claim to the islands. We weigh anchor around 5pm for a sunset cruise to Curieuse Bay. Settle into the rustic rhythm of the ship tonight with a welcome BBQ under the stars.
Day 2 – Sunday · Wild Mangroves & Giants
Disembark at Curieuse Island, a virtually uninhabited island where nature rules. Navigate the vast mangrove forests on foot and visit the giant tortoise farm, set among the ruins of a historic leper colony. After lunch, the afternoon is yours. Dive into the turquoise waters or simply relax in the salt air on the beach.
Day 3 – Monday · The Timeless Charm of La Digue
A morning sail brings us to La Digue, an island where the modern world feels a lifetime away — explore by bicycle, visit the vanilla plantations of Union Estate, or stand among the iconic granite boulders of Anse Source d'Argent. Keep a quiet watch for the rare Seychelles Paradise Flycatcher in the forest canopy.
Day 4 - Tuesday · Into the "Garden of Eden"
Wake to the gentle lap of waves against the hull. Today we visit the legendary Vallée de Mai on Praslin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Coco de Mer grows wild and the rare Black Parrot hides among the palms. After lunch, the afternoon is yours: dive, snorkel, or enjoy onboard water sports.
Day 5 – Wednesday · A Sanctuary for the Senses
An early cruise brings us to Cousin Island, a strictly protected reserve and one of the last sanctuaries for the endangered Seychelles Magpie Robin. Explore vast seabird colonies and rare endemic species on a morning nature walk. After lunch, we navigate to the north of Praslin, where you can spend the afternoon relaxing in a hidden cove.
Day 6 – Thursday · The Final Anchorage
We sail to Anse Lazio Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in Praslin, perfect for a day of swimming, snorkeling and other water sports, or supreme relaxation in one of the most stunning settings in the world. In the evening, enjoy a sunset sail back to Curieuse Bay to soak in the world's only granitic ocean islands one last time.
Day 7 – Friday · The Return
A final morning disembarkation brings us back to Anse Possession at 8.30am. You leave with the spirit of the islands and the memory of a truly authentic maritime voyage.

Your Safety & Comfort - The ocean is our master. Your safety is our absolute priority, and if tides or winds shift, your Captain may adjust the route to keep the journey smooth and enjoyable.
Sun & Sea Protection - The Seychelles sun is as brilliant as it is powerful. Pack high-SPF sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and polarised sunglasses for spotting dolphins from the deck.
Stepping Ashore - Adventure means getting your feet wet. Some island visits involve "wet landings" from the dinghy - bring deck shoes and a pair of water shoes or sandals you don't mind getting salty.
Dive into the Deep - The Seychelles underwater world is legendary. Our onboard PADI instructors offer daily dives, introductory "discover" dives for first-timers, and full PADI Open Water certification.
A Taste of the Islands - Every cruise is full board, blending international favourites with soul-warming Creole cuisine. Tell us about any dietary needs in advance - our Chef loves personalising the menu.
Refreshments at Hand - Cool down with soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits from the onboard bar - perfect for a sunset toast on the top deck.
